First, use the account request form if you do not already have a My BookShelf account. Once you have an account, follow the instructions for How do I login to My BookShelf? Once you are logged in, you are ready to start personalizing your My BookShelf account.

Start by searching for what you need. Next, select items you would like to add to your My Shelf or My Bibliography. Click the shipping cart, then select View Bibliography.

From the Bibliography screen, click on the  purple document  in the upper right corner. You can then save to My File- Bibliography or My File - Book Shelves. Both of these options will retain your Items until you delete them.
